Guinevere King is a Freelance Videographer, Photographer, Producer, Writer & Editor specializing in Content Creation and Social Media Management. She is also a professional vocalist and is currently performing in the Southern California area.

Hello and Welcome to Gourmet Underway!

After three years of living and working aboard our 45’ Sailboat named Aria while traveling up and down the Southern California Coast, I decided it was time to start a blog about this unique lifestyle on the water.

My goal is to share with you things that I’ve learned and experienced on this incredible journey and to inspire you to live simply and dream big.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

My philosophy is to go with the flow and own what you know. I am passionate about sailboat life, travel, the ocean/beach lifestyle, health & wellness, music, and of course - food and culture. We couldn’t be Gourmet Underway without delicious recipes and tips for cooking while under sail or motor power.
